Busy, Busy, Busy!

Well I am still here, just been busy, busy, busy! I don't really know if anyone is still reading my blog or not, especially with all the 0 comments over the last few posts but anyway, I am back and hopefully somebody is reading this...hehehehe.

When I was a kid November and December were the longest months ever! I cannot believe it is almost December! I haven't even started my Christmas shopping yet?

Here is a little update of what has been going on:
Dillon graduated in October!! Yah Dillon...Congratulations!

Mark turned 50, Mallory 25 and Tiffany 22!! Crazy with birthdays this month!

We went to pick out our tree this weekend.

I participated in a craft sale. This is one of the 4 tables I had set up. I really did well and sold almost all my scarves. I got an order for 6 more cupcake scarves so I am busy crocheting them up as well.

Pictures are out of order a bit...lol...but this is the final decision on the tree!

82 more days until we leave for Florida!!!

Well hopefully I am somewhat caught up and I will be back to the blogging world.

Hanging on...

Brrrrr....Well I spent the weekend at the trailer bundled up with blankets and a winter coat...the end of the season is near...We will be celebrating Thanksgiving up there this coming weekend and the following weekend we will be closing up for the season which = cold long winter and the start of my seasonal depression...lol. We actually turned on our furnace last night and it has been running off and on today...I seriously am not a winter person...I never have been and probably never will be!!
I took the dogs out this morning and this lovely little rose caught my eye. All the leaves are gone but...I guess it is trying to hold on to the nice weather for as long as possible, just like me!

Hey Fall!

I haven't fallen off the face of the earth...I have just been busy and in a blog funk! I never know what to write about without thinking I am boring you people? But I am back at it and thanks for still following me!

First up....Random Facts Wednesdays are back:

1. I used to dress up like a clown and do kids birthday parties in the late 80s.
2. I used to teach a girls self improvement program at the Boys and Girl Club.
3. I used to be a Brownie Owl.
4. I collect Bratz dolls.
5. I wish I were more organized!

I received these goodies from Catyesterday for a Fall Swap I joined!! How cool is that....I am trying to think what to knit/crochet with the beautiful wool (not like I have 100 projects on the go already). Thanks Cat....I love everything!!

I am also involved in Janel's I ♥ Fall Class. I am a couple of pages behind but am hoping to get caught up tonight! I am really beginning to get addicted to art journals!!

I have a craft sale coming up on November 20 so I have been busy making stuff for that as well.

143 more days until our trip to Florida! I have been walking with my friend 5 km twice a week and trying to eat better, so far, the scale hasn't moved!!! I am getting a little discouraged. I guess I will keep plugging away and hopefully the scale will be my friend soon!!??

Summer Reading!

Well I am back from holidays and the boys are back in school...I absolutely hate having to set an alarm clock!! I have always felt like September was like "new year's" fresh starts and all. We are heading to Florida in 161 days and I definitely need to get some weight off along with improving my strength etc. I have a friend who has recently moved back to my area who has lost 125 pounds and she has agreed to be my walking partner!! Well today is the first day of my walking regimen...we did almost 5000 steps this morning!! I am hoping having a partner in crime might motivate me to keep moving!!

Well I would have to say I spent most of my summer reading...I have never been a reader...in school when we used to have to do book reports, I would read the back cover and make my report from that, or I would pick a book someone else had read and ask them about the book and do my report...LOL! I hated reading...now all of a sudden in the past 2 years or so, I read all the time?

Camping!!

Well I am heading out soon to go to the trailer and I am bringing along 10 or so projects of my 30+ projects on the go!!! Boy this summer has been bad for my crafting ADD!!!! I have so many projects to finish it isn't even funny! I just thought I would share one of the projects I am taking...

How cute are these watermelon socks!!!!! I got the yarn from Darn Good Yarn and I just love how it self stripes to look like watermelon! Okay well I guess I am off to pack!

I am still here!

I haven't really abandoned this blog, I was just seriously considering shutting it down but at both of my daughters objection, I will be back at it full force come September 7th as I am on holidays again for another week!!!! Heading out tomorrow and will not be returning until Monday!!!! I hope everyone has a great week!!!

I'm Back!

Hey everybody...I am back from vacation :( I really feel like I want to retire, it was very hard to get back into the swing of things today. I had a great time, I read 3 books, swam, ate and of course most of the time we just....

RELAXED!!!! LOL
Big news from Mallory....she is officially engaged!!! Congratulations Mallory! This is a picture of my new grandpuppy...Baron!! Isn't he just adoreable!!!

This is my other new grandpuppy Tate...he is Tiffany's puppy! I could just gobble both of them up!

We did come home for a couple of days and went to Crockadoodle. It is a paint your own pottery place...it was really cool! The artist at work here!

This is my mouse pad half finished....I am picking up the finished product this week!

This is one of the things I painted there...how cute are those cupcakes!?! I think I am hooked on this pottery thing....my house will soon be filled with it!

Well I hope everyone is enjoying the summer...and Mark being the optomistic person that he is, informed me summer is officially half over!! YUK!!!

Still on Vacation!

Punch Buggy Purple!

Well you can tell I got a lot of work done yesterday...LOL...I am sooooooooo ready for some time off work. I start holidays on the 26th!!!!! I did not want to work yesterday at all so I decided to do a little colouring....I can't believe how fast this summer is going...it is almost the end of July already???
